Forrestfield Airport Link, with 8 km of tunnels and 2 underground stations connecting the Perth Airport with the existing rail network, was opened in 2022. As part of the project commissioning, Stacey Agnew were engaged to perform testing of the tunnel ventilation system and smoke testing for the tunnels and stations. During the final stages of commissioning we were asked to provide advice in a tunnel ventilation and fire engineering role to the project.
