With 26 km of tunnels, WestConnex is Austalia's largest underground road network connecting the New M4 in Homebush and M5 East in Kingsgrove under Sydney's inner west suburbs. Connections to the Iron Cove Link, Western Habour Tunnel and Western Distributor as part of the ## ramps in the network contribute to make WestConnex a highly complex project for multiple disciplines.
As advisors to the government for tunnel ventilation and fire life safety, Stacey Agnew developed the reference design for the network and reviewed the final designs submitted by the contractors.
