Stacey Agnew offices avoid floods while GTP shed goes under

While the majority of Goodna saw the brunt of some of the worst flooding in Brisbane, fortunately the Stacey Agnew offices at Goodna Technology Park stayed high and dry but only just.

The Goodna Technology Park scale testing facility and shed on the flood plain below the offices did not fare so well. Fortunately the scale testing machines were moved to higher ground in time though some other equipment went under.

LC extends many thanks to the support from associated businesses in assisting the cleaning of the shed and scale testing facility.

Snowy Hydro Limited have recently upgraded fire life safety systems at their the Tumut 1 and Tumut 2 hydro power stations.  The stations, which are a part of the iconic Snowy Mountains Hydro Scheme located in the  Kosciuszko National Park, were completed in 1959 and 1962 respectively.  The upgrade included provision of a new smoke management system involving installation of new fan plant, dampers, associated electrics, and modification of internal station structures.
