President of Sohatsu, Dr Ichiro Nakahori, Executive Vice President Dr Toshi Sakaguchi, and Hardware Engineer Mr Hibiki Sako explained the technology behind their innovative inverter panel and drive filter system, and the use case for their inverters, being clean waveforms, no zero phase current, and the ability to drive loads on long (2,000 m) unshielded cables.  In our adjacent workshop, Sohatsu explained their inverter panel and demonstrated the lack of zero-phase current while driving a fan.  The explanation was assisted by Nick Hamilton, whose company Hamilton Instrument & Electrical Pty Ltd built the demonstration panel in Queensland to Australian standards.
